Leonard launched his career with the Best Superintendent team award in Southwest UK. Building on this achievement, he has developed into a highly skilled construction expert with over 35 years of experience, leading large project teams and 18 project superintendents on consecutive projects throughout Vancouver Island and lower mainland B.C. across diverse sectors and geographical area.

His impressive portfolio includes residential multi-level, subdivisions, schools, hospitals, shopping malls, UVic, UWO, fire stations, high-rises, the BC Legislature, military facilities at CFB Esquimalt and CFB Comox, auto dealerships, and treatment plants. Leonard’s work has spanned the UK, Canada, and the USA.

Following an accomplished career, Leonard founded Ewart Construction Inc., a multi-generational company, and is now pursuing BC Housing certification to re-establish his credentials as a registered builder from Ontario. His goal is to expand the company’s property development ventures and general contracting business in British Columbia.
